Civilian Arming Analyst

TSG Technical Services, Inc. (www.thesandigroup.com) is seeking a qualified individual to support the Multi National Corps Iraq C3 Force Protection/ Anti-Terrorism program through the tracking and record keeping of requests for the arming of Government employees, Contractors, and Private Security companies. The analyst will support the management of the program to ensure that arming packets are complete, properly documented, and maintained in the database. The analyst will be provided living facilities, on a Military compound, while performing duties.
Duties:
- Variety of IT/Clerical/Advisory duties for tracking, reporting, staffing of requests for the arming of Government employees, Contractors and Private Security companies. Procedures have to be in compliance with specific standards, and deficiencies have to be identified and documented.
- Utilize database, with search engine capability, capable of supporting reporting requirements in connection with the arming requests. Qualified candidates must able to retrieve and input information into the system.
- Research to identify persons/companies for possible previous arming authorization rules and prepare reports.
- Post approval verification of arming requirements.
- Post approval audits for compliance of all approved arming requests, includes site survey, inspection of training records and random sampling of contractor employees.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a Secret Clearance; Active Preferred
- Experience working with a database
- Ability to perform database updates and maintenance;
- Understanding of database report writing including custom reports as required;
- Strong working knowledge of relational databases;
- Solid knowledge and working experience with MS-Windows, and MS-Office Suite;
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and with a team for long periods of time;
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, duties, responsibilities and sometimes conflicting priorities;
- Well developed problem-solving and customer service skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
